Question: I see you qualified the community in Queens that made up a small town-like setting, fulfilling LIS preferences. How did you sell the idea to them, other than they knew you? How did you convince them to take a chance on it?
Hi Mary, that was one book that they came to me with. I was asked to be a part of a continuity series. The editors come up wtih all of the stories and pick the authors to write them. So, that was their idea, not mine. 🙂 But they can “break the rules” because they’re the boss…haha. Hope that helps. 🙂
